This Privacy Policy explains how Poriy collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use an iOS ear-training app. It covers your local practice profile, training preferences, drill results, saved drills, private Practice Notes, avatar media, permissions, and support communications.
We collect information you provide or create while using Poriy, together with the permission and support information needed to operate the app. Poriy does not require an email address, password, or external sign-in.
We use this information to create or resume your local practice profile, provide ear-training drills, save training preferences, record session results and progress, manage saved drills and private Practice Notes, support avatar selection, enable user-initiated voice dictation, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. Core drill data and audio prompts are bundled with the app.
Poriy requests camera or Photos access only when you choose to change your practice avatar. The selected image is used as the avatar reference for your local practice profile. These permissions are not used for unrelated collection.
For a voice-focused drill or when you tap voice dictation for a Practice Note, Poriy may request microphone access after that user action. Speech recognition converts a dictated note into text for the note field. Poriy does not use microphone input for identity verification, biometric profiling, background recording, or advertising.
When you save a practice result, preference, saved drill, profile change, or typed or dictated Practice Note, Poriy stores that information locally so you can revisit it in the app. Practice Notes are private to your local practice profile and are not a public feed, chat, or user-to-user message.
Poriy does not use tracking technologies, advertising identifiers, third-party advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or external authentication services. The app does not provide paid features or a checkout flow. Poriy does not request permission to track you and does not display an App Tracking Transparency or other tracking authorization prompt. We use only the information needed to provide the features you choose to use.
Poriy does not send your local profile, practice results, Practice Notes, or selected avatar media to a Poriy backend, advertiser, or analytics provider. Core drill data and audio prompts are bundled locally. Poriy may load non-essential remote images used as drill artwork or placeholder avatars, but those requests do not include your local practice data.
Local Poriy data remains on your device until you remove it, delete the app, or use Delete Account. Delete Account removes data stored under Poriy's local storage keys, including the local profile, preferences, Practice Notes, saved drills, and practice results. Support emails are retained according to the email provider's policies.
You can change camera, Photos, microphone, and speech-recognition permissions through iOS Settings. You can use Delete Account to remove Poriy's local data, or contact git@codeup.aliyun.com with privacy, deletion, practice-data, or permission questions.
Poriy is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information without permission, contact us so we can review and remove the data where appropriate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the policy date and publishing the revised version on this page.
